9:00 Traditional
What is this service like?
At Bethany we offer a traditional-style worship service each Sunday morning located in our beautiful sanctuary beginning at 9:00 A.M. The service consists of all the usual elements you would come to expect from a church service. Welcome, prayer, hymns, a sermon, offering, and a once a month celebration of communion. Some people dress more formally; others dress more casually.
What do I do with my children?
Children are welcome to stay with their families or attend Junior Church, which lasts the duration of the worship service. Trained adults will be available at the back of the worship area to lead your children to Junior Church. Not only will they have a great time, but you'll have the peace of mind knowing that all of our volunteers are in compliance with the training and background checks required by our Safe Sanctuaries policy.
Will I have to sign in, give, or be singled out?
You will not be singled out and you are welcome to share your contact information if you would like to do that. Consider yourself as our guest. Collection bowls are available at the rear of the worship space, for those who would like to give, but it is not a requirement.
Where can I park and where do I go?
Parking is available in the lot on Summerhill Avenue and behind the church building (entrance on Pine Street). The first spaces on the 16th and Pine Street parking lot are reserved for individuals with wheelchairs or needing assistance to our wheelchair accessible front door. Any of our entrances will lead you up the stairs to our main worship area. There is a Welcome Desk in the overflow area of the sanctuary where all kinds of information is available.
